Volunteer needs

  • welcome customers and receive payments in the store. This task includes operating the cash register and providing information about Cart’m in person and on the phone.
  • help users sort items along the recycle line. This task includes monitoring contamination of bins and helping some users handle large and/or heavy loads.
  • sort and price items brought for sale in the store. This task may involve deciding whether an item goes into the store or the dumpster. Volunteers may also perform portions of this task on days when Cart’m is closed.
