Cart’m is a non-profit corporation chartered in Oregon and operating under
IRS section 501 (c) (3). Our federal I D number 31-1541425.

Tillamook County owns the land and buildings where Cart’m operates. The County has owned the site as a dump or transfer station since 1953.

In addition to conforming to state and federal law, Cart’m operates under many state, county and local regulations. Those include the following:

• Oregon Revised Statutes 459A — Reuse and recycling.
• Oregon Revised Statutes 65 – Nonprofit corporations.
• Oregon DEQ permit #342 issued January 1996.
• Oregon Safety and Health Agency (OSHA) rules.
• Articles of Incorporaton filed May 1997.
• Tillamook County franchise order xx-xx.
• City of Manzanita conditional use permit 97-05.
• City of Manzanita site plan approvals in 1998 and 2007.
